This science assessment system is available to member states and offers a complete web-based assessment system and science item bank with over 1400 field-tested science assessment items. The item bank covers major science content areas and grade levels and can be searched by a number of descriptors, including National Standards. The short answer and extended response items, as well as hands-on tasks, contain rubrics and scored student samples.
 
Items of interest can be selected and downloaded for further editing and printing, or delivered as an online assessment.
